shot this in pet trade market in Chennai that reeks in stench of profit from caged birds....for more than 5 million years The Budgerigar Parrot, often referred to as the Budgie, a small bird native to Australia inhabited the area as free bird then in mid 1800s man put them in pet trade ever since millions of these birds have been bred in captivity and sold around the world as a family pet (as love birds)
