Description:
This nightjar was hiding amongst the grass and was most likely sleeping before we stopped to look at it as they are nocturnal, hence the common name. It opened one eye just to make sure we weren't going to disturb it and then went back to sleep.
Habitat:
found in Pench national park, India and is also found in south and South East Asia.
