Description:

Photo take near home in a jungle path this is a very old termite nest in which this parakeets love to made it´s nest, this nest are common to get inhabitant by parakeets. Around 18 cm tall all green color whit a olive color on the chest and blue feathers on the wing tips.

Habitat:

Found in forest and forest edge (near rivers) in humid lowland zones. Less frequent in larger tracts of rainforest and reported in arid areasand pine forest, open country with scattered trees and plantations. Found from north-eastern Mexico, through the Yucatan Peninsula and along the Caribbean slope of Central America as far south as north-western Panama
