Field Notes

Description:

A pale moth wirth a wingspan of 30 mm and scalloped brown patterns on the wings. This moth had a fringe of pinkish brown setae along each costa near the wing base and a costal bulge near the apices of the wings - features suggesting that this is a male moth.

Habitat:

Attracted to bright lights. Larvae are said to feed on Rosaceae(prunus) and Mimosaceae (silver wattle). These plants are in abundance in the area.
