Description:

Upright, multi-stemmed large shrub, about 10 feet; has white flowers in the spring; has small round purple berries; Leaves are finely toothed, alternate, simple, 1½ to 2½ inches long and ½ to 11/4 inches wide.

Habitat:

planted in urban schoolyard to attact wildlife
