Field Notes

Description:

Not to long ago, I spotted a small snail, on my front porch. It had been raining hard, for about forty five minutes. Around 2:00 p.m. in the afternoon, I cracked open the front door just a little bit, and I spotted a small snail, resting on the left side of my front porch. I picked up this small snail with a piece of paper, and I brought this small snail, back inside my house with me, so I could take some photos of it. I measured this small snail, and it's shell was one fourth of an inch long. It's shell, had six whorls to it. This small snail is alive, as it was moving all over this piece of paper, while I was taking photos of it. The color of this small snail, is different shades of brown.
