Description:

The male Indian peafowl is India's national bird.The peacock is probably one of the most dazzling birds to behold.It has a shining blue neck,metallic green breast,a white-like crest and a beautiful,long and luxurious tail,upto 1.5 m long.

Habitat:

Thick scrubland,decidous forests,areas near human habitation and water.
