Description:

Old Mustard Yellow Polypore (Fuscoporia gilva) brackets.
Bracket fungi, hemispherical in shape; dull gray-brown; no stem; approximately 1 to 1.5 inches wide. Pore surface brown. Pores tiny, 6-8/mm.

Habitat:

Found In clusters on trunk of hardwood tree (species not identified)

Notes:

Formerly called Phellinus gilvus.
Young Fuscoporia gilva brackets have are brown with a mustard yellow margin.
