Field Notes

Description:

Small tree to 3m tall with hairless round leaves found in pairs. Wood used for spears and fire sticks. Premna odorata is a similar species but has a dense layer of hair on the underneath of the leaf. Member of the Verbenaceae.

Coastal Monsoon Rainforest
