Description:

Native to India and SE Asia, Neem is a serious environmental weed in Northern Australia dominating Eucalypt Savannah, Riparian strips and Coastal Vegetation. It is spread via bats and birds which eat its fruit. There is some evidence which shows extracts to be a useful insect repellent. Member of the Meliaceae family.
