Description:

Small falcon just slightly larger than a Kestrel and smaller that a Prairie Falcon. This is a winter migrating falcon with streaky front, dark back, thin eyebrow, brown eyes, banded tail, yellow legs and faded mustache. Fast flyer with rapid wing beats.

Habitat:

Open fields and marshlands
