Field Notes

Description:

This fruit is round in shape and is anywhere from 2-5 inches. Its coloring is a faded green. The surface of the fruit has rough/bumpy feel. This fruit hangs off a brown stem covering the whole entire tree. At about 15 ft., the tree is fairly tall. It shows signs of termites and has a huge ant trail. The fruit itself is fairly heavy, but it has no distinct smell. I found this tree in the Singapore American School Rainforest.

Habitat:

Singapore American School Rainforest (tropical climate)

Notes:

-No distinct smell
-Oval shape
-Fairly heavy
-2-5 inches tall
