Description:
Several dark gray-to-black “sticks”, some branching, ~ 1 inch tall and less than ⅛ inch in diameter with white tips.
Habitat:
Lowland insular tropical mesic mixed forest and shrubland.
Notes:
Spotted growing in mud in the lee of a fallen log alongside the Ehukai Pillbox Trail ascending the bluff behind the coastal strand on the North Shore of Oahu.
