Field Notes

Description:

This insect was found in the Dairy Farm rainforest. I have only seen this once in my life, and it looks similar to a cockroach, including its brownish color. It's about 4-5 cm long, and it was found on the side of a tree at eye level. This insect had claws, and the head structure is very different and unique than other insects. The body looked waxy and smooth, with thin legs.
