Description:

Colourful butterfly with a red border to the wings.

Habitat:

In Shyamkhola a semi-urban semi-rural type of area, near a bamboo thicket where there was a huge tract of fallow land.

Notes:

The mating dance was on...and the butterfly kept pointing its abdomen in the air...it looked as if it was hanging on with its back to the twigs/leaves...
