I'll be darned! As you know these guys sure aren't native to Hawaii, but rather Africa! It's a shame to see escapees... I had a African peach-faced lovebird as a pet for 13 years (He too had escaped from his previous owner and was found eating chicken feed at a local farm). I adopted him from that point on. Just love these cute little guys! Nice find! Have you heard of the big population of these guys in Arizona?
