Description:

a cluster of flaccid Mutinus in the woodchip between Mount Prospect Park and Brooklyn Botanic Garden entrance. I was surprised to see these, didn't think they'd be out til the fall. Couldn't tell if it was Mutinus elegans or caninus.

Habitat:

I am excited for your new book!
Phallus rubicundus - it's not in too many of the field guides yet - my new book has a photo of it.
