Description:
Barkfly nymphs of about 3mm body length. Chocolate brown with two pale tripes on the tip of abdomen; head slightly lighter than the rest of the body. They were huddled together on a dry twig (about 40cm off the ground), but got a little agitated as I moved closer with some dropping to the leaves below (picture #1).
Habitat:
Found in 'El Cimatario', a national park in semi-arid area just outside the city. The rainy season is now in full swing and many animals are venturing out.
