Field Notes

Description:

Small passerine bird (~10cm).
Upperparts and uppertail are gray, underparts rusty-brown. Cap and eye-line are black. Supercilium and throat are white.
Sexes are alike.

Habitat:

Usually resident of northern and subalpine conifer forests.
Although, it could migrate to various wintering location in North America.

Notes:

Spotted feeding on the bird feeding house in our garden.
Male and female have always been seen together.
