Field Notes

Description:

Large bird that waddles like a goose and flies with a quite loud flapping sound. It was a white patch on the neck. Otherwise largely grey in colour. Pinkish sheen on chest.

Habitat:

This one was spotted in a backyard/garden. Quiet urban neighbourhood.

Notes:

It is UK's largest and commonest pigeon.
