Habitat:

Spotted in our backyard on Touch-me-not (Mimosa pudica Linn.), known in the Philippines as Makahiya. Plant information from http://www.stuartxchange.com/Makahiya.html.....

Notes:

Cicadellidae; Cicadellinae; Cofana spectra Distant, 1908. There is some information on this species in - https://idtools.dpi.nsw.gov.au/keys/cicadell/species/cofana.htm.... and it is explained that, although this hopper is considered a pest of some plants, it does not cause serious damage.
