Description:

I suspect a magenta/purple version of wild geranium. The leaves and stem mound look very typical of the normal white variety of wild geranium i see. Flowers are smaller than .5 cm and have 5-6 petals with a pale center and stamen. Central root base with extending stems to about 6 cm diameter. Leaves are typical wild geranium shaped.

Habitat:

West central ga. Poor soil, clay, full sun.
