Field Notes

Description:

A super tiny acorn weevil on a wall at the park. Not surprising since we have so many different types of oak tree planted here. I wish I had a macro lense so I could show its cute little trunk nose better. I considered this as a boll weevil but with research figured the boll weevil doesn't extend its range into Kansas.

Habitat:

Found through the Northern parts of the US and into Canada.
