Description:
This flower came from the African Tulip tree. It is quite common in the Singapore American School campus rainforest, but it is a non-native species that has invaded some space for other plants or trees to grow in. It's flower is very fragile, with soft and smooth petals the color of deep red. The inside is orange, getting lighter as it gets deeper.
Habitat:
The African Tulip tree that this flower comes from grows in both an abandoned agricultural land and closed forest that they have invaded.
