Field Notes

Description:

About 5mm long, this damsel bug had pale brown patterned wings with spikey projections on the thorax. this bug also had stabbing mouthparts ( close-up pic #3)

Habitat:

grasslands, gardens. Spotted on a wall near a Reserve.

Notes:

These feed on small invetebrates. There are 22 species in seven genera in Australia.
