Field Notes

Description:

This bracket fungus was 18 cm. wide and 8 cm. long (at the widest and longest points). The tree it was growing on was dead. It looked broken. The fungus was brownish - tannish colored. With wavy layers of different colors. The underside was completely cream though.

Habitat:

A secondary rainforest in Singapore.

Notes:

There was a handsome fungus beetle under this.
