Description:
A turtle that is well known for having many different colors striped upon its shell. It can be kept as a house pet, can be very interactive and show no threat to humans. As soon as early winter arrives, they will hibernate until early spring. If kept as a pet, hibernation can be avoided.
Habitat:
Found mainly in North America. Habitats can vary, but mainly found near wet areas such as swamps, beaches, etc.
