Debbie, this was at Asa Wright where I saw the Tufted Coquette's. I got just one Ruby Topaz and that was on Tobago. I think they were just starting to come back.
It wasnt at Asa Wright's then? I think we went the wrong time of year as we missed the ruby Topaz too! good excuse to go back ha ha
Thanks Debbie! I was lucky, there were several of these males around the lodge. One even flew inside the screened part of the porch and had to be let out.
