Field Notes

Description:

Spotted in the Macritchie Reservoir, this young dragonfly landed a few inches in front of me on a walk with my best friend. Each wing was about 3 inches in length, meaning that its entire wingspan was roughly 6 inches. Its wings were a light orange tinge, and the tips of the wings were a dark shaded brown. A brown and orange pattern lies beside its midsection. Enjoy! :)
