Description:

A poisonous shrub with white sap. Leaves thick rounded, opposite. Flowers starrry, violet. Fruits inflated, looks like short fat bananas, but are acturally hollow. Seeds tufted, wind dispersed.

Habitat:

roadsides and fallow fields in tropical S Asia.
