Description:

The common dandelion, an early spring/late winter bloomer although it blooms the entire growing season I think. Yes, I just seriously posted a picture of one on here.

Good to know! I don't often hear such good things about dandelions!
Dandelions, considered a lawn pest by many, are actually beneficial - They are a great companion plant for gardening because its deep taproot will bring up nutrients for plants with a shallower root system. Dandelions also attract pollinating insects and are an important nectar & pollen source for early season insects! - Nice spot :)
