Description:

It is a non venomous snake,and its color is brown.it feasts on small amphibians like frogs and also lizards .it will also eat insects.when threat arrives it tries to escape with very fast movement.otherwise strikes very speedly.

Habitat:

commonly found in bushy forests.

Hello. Sorry your spotting is not a brown tree snake (Boiga irregularis) which does not occur in (mainland) India. It occurs from Sulawesi, Indonesia east and south to New Guinea and Australia. It is invasive on some islands. Yours looks like a bronzeback http://www.flickr.com/photos/14604263@N04/9549375848 Please see the species suggestion. Thanks
