Field Notes

Description:

This is a small male songbird, about 10 cm long. The the underparts of both male and female are bright yellow whist the back is a dark brown colour. The throat and upper breast of this adult male was a dark, metallic blue-black.

Habitat:

Spotted in the garden where I am staying in Hua Hin, Thailand

Notes:

Seen here adding feathers etc to the nest which both sexes help to build
