Description:

This is a Banana Tree, found in Singapore. The fruits on this tree are bananas, green when not ripe, small, only about 13 cm long. Come in bunches of about 20-50. Leaves are lanceocate shape, about 130 cm long and 45 cm wide. Entire leaf edges, some leaves had deep slices in them. Netted pinnate leaf viens and the leaves are smooth with with deep viens. The bark texture is smooth, but squishy when pressure is applied. The root system is prop and stilt roots.
