Description:

female green lynx spider killing her mate (see comments); last photo shows a molted exoskeleton

Habitat:

spotted in my desert garden, on my pepper plant, which she has been living on for a couple of months now

Eeeekkk! Thanks so much for that clarification, elhennawy. So much to learn, especially about spiders, which prior to PN, I would have run away from! I've edited the description.
It is not moulting. This is a female Peucetia arabica after killing her mate. You can see his palpal organs on the third photograph. The previous moulted exoskeleton is on the fourth photo as you said. It is completely different from the male's body on the other three photos.
