Description:

Breeding White Pelicans often show the fibrous plate on the upper mandible shown in the first two pictures. This plate is shed after eggs are laid.
Third pic show the black primaries & outer secondaries.

Habitat:

Shallow retention pond in Eastern Sarasota FL
