Description:

leeches are 2 1/2 in long and 1 1/2 mm They belong to the phylum Annelida. Leeches are black they prefer to live on land and particularly in low foliage or in rain forests. That is where I found the leech in the picture above on the forest floor.

Habitat:

forest floor in the rain forest.

Nice job! you have a great description. Here is a new piece of information that I just learned. There are no leeches in Singapore anymore. This is a black flatworm.
