Field Notes

Description:

This was found in an apartment garden. The flowers were red and 2 cm in size. They had a yellow border, and anthers and stigmas inside. The buds were around 1 cm. They were furry and yellowish-brown. The leaf venation was netted pinnate, and the leaf shape was oblong. The leaves were very small; about 1 cm in length and 1/2 cm in width. The leaf margins were entire, and there was no drip tip. The leaf was smooth and fragile, while the stem of the plant was smooth. The bark was rough, and the root system was buttress. The leaves were arranged in an opposite pattern. The leaf was also in a bipinnate pattern.

Habitat:

In a shady, dry part of my condos big garden. It wasn't wet in the area.
