Description:

Family:Araneidae (Orb weaving spiders) Very small spider. 6 mm (Less than 1/4 inch) Reddish body with bright yellow abdomen and six spots on abdomen. Caring for nest. Found on lilac leaf on the lilac bush in the front yard.

Habitat:

Front yard near meadow and woodlands.
