Field Notes

Description:

This was a small plant, about 30 cm tall. There was no fruit and no flowers. The leaf venation is netted pinnate, and the leaf arrangement is whorled. The leaf shape is linear/oblong. The margins are entire, and each leaf is 12 cm long, and 4 cm wide. It was smooth and waxy, and it also had a drip tip. The bark was thin and rough.

Habitat:

This plant was found in a secondary rainforest near a path in Singapore.
