Description:

Brown-black finch with two black bars on the breast

Habitat:

Common resident in open woodland i north and northeast from Broome WA, to southeastern NSW expanding southwards.

Notes:

There was a dripping tap near our camp so we placed a container under the drips and the birds were loving it.
