Field Notes

Description:

These mushrooms where white, turning a darker to a flat brown when it gets toward the middle. These grow in bunches, they were tightly packed in a small area. These has smaller mushrooms on the bottom and bigger ones emerging to the top. This has no fruit and no flowers to be seen near by. The biggest mushroom from the log, the stem and mushroom together was about an inch.

Habitat:

This was found near the entrance of the forest . This was low on the ground next to a rotting log. There were dead leaves found around this fungus. The dirt that it was found on was soft and damp. Just freshly rained. The climate is hot but rains very often. This tens to be very humid.
