Description:

I had never thought of pigeons as that attractive until I saw this one

Habitat:

Caribben, forest, forest edges

Notes:

I staying in the small village of Picard on the edge of the forest in northwest Dominica. I looked out my door one morning at 6am to find a few Rednecked Pigeons perching on the electrical wires out front. I ran and got my camera and got a few pics before they flew off. My favorite pigeon for sure!

Thanks Tom, you're right. I'm lucky I was on a third floor balcony so I was at the same level as it.
Nice shot of the pigeon! It's hard getting close to these birds.
