This was my second one for the year. The first being an extremely brief flyby down on the coast where I live. This one was a very lucky spot down a snow covered road on the highway coming back from a long day of hiking Palo Duro canyon. Fortunately the food kept him around while I changed positions up. This was handheld from about 100 ft away. 700mm F5.6 on my Canon 5D MK II.
Fantastic shot Cody! These guys are few and far between here in CO!
