Description:
World of a Dung Beetle! It was quite an uphill task for this determined Dung Beetle. It took this neatly rolled dung to the sand dune dug a tunnel in the sand and took it inside.
One of the primary reasons for doing so is to feed their young. The female deposits each individual egg in its own ball of dung and then the larvae emerges, they have their own supply of food.
Habitat:
Sand Dunes of Thar Desert, Rajasthan.
