Field Notes

Description:

The base color is a greenish-gray and there are speckles all over the body.

Habitat:

Found in brackish water, this fish was seined up from a waterway that connects to the Gulf of Mexico.

Notes:

I was on a field trip sampling for fish. All the fish we caught were seined up, then we put them in buckets to look at them. The fish was only out of the water for a few seconds for us to take pictures, then were returned to the water when we were done.
