Not sure that I've identified the exact long horn beetle I spotted. Maybe I'm close? But then it has spines on the thorax like Prionus californicus...?

Thanks Luis! I really miss that camera! It took great macros but alas it met an untimely fate. Thanks for the link. I've tried to ID the specific LH beetle but the closest match I can see is a California Prionus.
