Field Notes

Description:

Its flowers vary in colour from red to yellow, speckled on the bottom with black dots. The colour can vary even among flowers growing in vicinity, but in general, yellow is predominant in the southern part of the range

Habitat:

Grown in a well-drained humus-rich soil in light shade or full sun if you can guarantee that it will not totally dry out.
Spotted on Mountain Velebit, Croatia.
