thanks Nuwan... never should have doubted!
i think Parantica aglea is the correct id http://www.ifoundbutterflies.org/115-parantica/parantica-aglea Parantica agleoides is different http://www.butterflycircle.com/checklist%20V2/CI/index.php/start-page/startpage/showbutterfly/55
Any ideas on whether this is Glassy Tiger Parantica aglea melanoides, or Dark Glassy Tiger, Parantica agleoides agleoides?
Nuwan, wondering if this isn't the dark glassy tiger, Parantica agleoides agleoides http://butterflycircle.blogspot.hk/2012/06/life-history-of-dark-glassy-tiger.html It's got those little lines between the 1 & 2 and 3 & 4 sets of sopts on the lower forewing.
