Species ID Suggestions

Orange bracket

Pycnoporus coccineus

Comments (1)

I believe this is a Pycnoporus species displaying gravitropism where the bracket has grown on a standing tree, then the tree has fallen and so the fungus has grown out perpendicular to it's original direction in response to the rotation of gravity.
